New Patients · Welcome to the Family

Your child's first visit,
made easy.

Here's everything you can expect at Tiny Tooth Co. — from booking to the big reveal at Tiny's Prize Palace. No surprises, just happy visits.

Take a peek inside before you arrive — watching it together is a great way to get little ones excited.

Before You Arrive

A little prep goes a long way.

We take care of the busywork so your visit is all about your child.

Step 1

Book online

Book online at dental4.me/tinytoothco or call/text us at 949-335-7303.

Step 2

Complete your forms

We'll send you an email with a link to complete your child's new patient forms digitally.

Forms are due by 8pm on the day you book. Your appointment is held, but not confirmed, until we receive them. If forms aren't received, we may offer that time to another family.

Step 3

We check your benefits

As a courtesy, our team verifies your insurance before your visit — we just need your insurance information first.

No insurance? No problem. Ask about our new patient specials or our in-office membership. Learn more →

Good to Know

Arrival & appointment policy

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in and explore.
  • Running late? Please call or text us so we can plan ahead. Appointments more than 10 minutes late are subject to cancellation or rescheduling with a no-show fee.
  • We require 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows are subject to a fee, since this time is held specifically for your family and individualized for your child's appointment.
The Big Day

What happens at your visit.

01

A warm welcome & office tour

You'll be greeted by our team (and our signature Tiny Tooth Co. scent). We'll kick things off with a tour so your child can meet the space before anything else happens.

02

Settle into the chair

Every chair has its own TV and wireless headphones, so your child can relax with a favorite show. We explain each tool using "Happy Words" — tell, show, then do.

03

A gentle check-up

Depending on age and comfort, the visit may include an exam by a board-certified pediatric dentist, a cleaning, fluoride, and low-radiation digital X-rays if needed. We always go at your child's pace.

04

Clinical evaluation

Your doctor will review their findings with you, answer your questions, and share personalized tips for brushing, diet, and habits — plus a plan for what's next.

05

The grand finale: Tiny's Prize Palace

Our bravest patients are invited into our secret toy speakeasy to pick a prize. It's the part kids talk about all the way home.

Parent Tip

Speak in Happy Words.

Kids pick up on our feelings and our words. Keep the lead-up positive and simple — "We're going to count your teeth and get a prize!" — and let us handle the explaining.

Try to skip words like hurt, shot, drill, pull, or scary, even in reassurance ("it won't hurt"). Here are a few swaps we use:

  • Shot / needle→Sleepy juice
  • Drill→Whistle brush
  • Suction→Mr. Thirsty
  • X-ray→Tooth pictures
  • Cavity→Sugar bug
Every Age, Every Stage

Tailored to your little one.

0–3

Babies & toddlers

We recommend a first visit by the first tooth or first birthday. Visits are short, gentle, and focused on coaching you on teething, brushing, and feeding habits.

3–6

Little kids

Curiosity is our superpower here. We let kids touch, try, and ask questions so the dentist becomes familiar — and even fun.

7+

Big kids & teens

We keep an eye on growing smiles, bite, and airway, and help kids take ownership of their own oral health.

Parent FAQs.

Can I stay with my child during the visit?

Absolutely! Parents are always welcome to come back with their child.

How long does the first visit take?

We set aside a full hour for your first visit. That gives us time for an office tour, to get to know your family, and to answer every question you have — no rushing.

What if my child cries or gets nervous?

Totally normal — especially for little ones. Our board-certified pediatric dentists are trained in gentle behavior guidance, and we'll never rush your child.

Do you take my insurance?

We verify your benefits as a courtesy once we have your insurance information. No insurance? Ask about our new patient specials or in-office membership. Visit our Finance & Insurance FAQ for details.

Can siblings come along?

Yes! Siblings can be seen together or back to back — just let us know when you book and we'll coordinate everyone's visit.

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens! We ask for at least 72 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Changes with less notice, and no-shows, are subject to a fee. You can read our full Financial & Cancellation Policy here.
